A recipe from the Good Food collection.
Ingredients
1½ cups (185g) plain flour
¾ cup (90g) cocoa powder
1½ cups (345g) firmly-packed soft brown sugar
180g butter
150g dark chocolate, chopped
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup (175g) dark chocolate bits
½ cup (90g) white chocolate bits
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to moderate 180C. Grease two baking trays and line with baking paper. Sift the flour and cocoa into a bowl. Add the sugar.
Step 2
Combine the butter and dark chocolate in a pan. Stir over low heat until melted, then add to the flour mixture with the eggs and stir until combined. Stir in all the chocolate bits.
Step 3
Roll two level tablespoons of the mixture into balls. Place on the trays, allowing room for spreading. Flatten slightly, then bake for 12 minutes. Leave for five minutes, then cool on a wire rack.
