Flinders Sourdough

Bakery$

Slinging fresh loaves baked in a 1940s wood-fired scotch oven.

Oozing with country charm, this local bakery still uses a wood-fired Scotch oven from the 1940s. Grab a Bakewell tart or a beach bun – dense with dried fruit, coconut and orange zest – and head to the shed opposite to enjoy.

Coffee is by Dromana roastery Little Rebel, and you can grab hand-made ceramic takeaway cups from Robert Cullen Pottery to-go. Looking to get into baking yourself? Sourdough starter kits are a good place to start, and the team here are ready to provide any advice you might need.
