Milk Haus

Cafe$$

A wholefoods eatery in a 19th century cheese factory.

Milk Haus is a five-minute drive outside of Milton, in a converted 19th century cheese factory with a working kitchen garden, a small flock of chickens and a fire pit prepped for cool afternoons with a glass of Australian-made Gentle Folk or Gilbert blanc wine. Dreamy.

Co-owners Nat Taylor (head chef) and Kitty Sidwill (front-of-house) serve up thoughtful, beautifully plated cafe fare, from pistachio cardamon waffles with whipped rose water mascarpone for breakfast, to poached chicken salad with goats cheese, apple and fennel for lunch.
