Why would you sit anywhere else for lunch at Northies' Mango Jam bistro but the timber benches on the broad deck overlooking North Cronulla beach through palm trees? The Sunday traffic noise might drive you inside, though it's quieter midweek. The location is magic and the food doesn't disappoint, with an interesting menu, generous portions and efficient service. Be warned - the superhero burger is ridiculously large and delicious. The wagyu steak sandwich is divine, and a squid salad tender and tasty. A decent local wine list rounds off a great little pub bistro experience.
