Plough Inn Hotel

Contemporary$$

Finding a quick, nutritious meal while traversing the Pacific Highway can be difficult. The Plough Inn is a genuine country pub with an expansive covered beer garden overlooking the tranquil Myall River; Bulahdelah promises to be just as quiet with the soon-to-be-opened highway bypass. The burgers and an enormous mixed grill looked good enough to sway choice but seafood is the name of the game here, including fish and chips, a crumbed seafood basket, garlic or chilli prawns, snapper and salmon among the wide selection. Friendly service and a quirky ambience rounds out the attractions. The front bar is a slice of Australiana.
