Hotel Brunswick

Pub dining$$

A riverfront pub with a sprawling beer garden.

This sprawling pub centres around its kick-arse beer garden – the perfect spot for an arvo glass of rosé and a prawn sandwich following a beach swim, or schooners and pizzas on balmy evenings.

Three Blue Ducks, who also do the food at Ewingsdale’s The Farm, recently took over the kitchen at the Bruns (as locals call it), and ushered in a breezy menu that is the kind of food you want to eat beside the seaside. The cocktails won’t win a global bar comp, but that’s totally fine, they’re created with care, and there’s an active live music and DJ calendar that ensures the venue is always pumping.
