Natural Wine Shop and Bar

Find coffees by day and wine by night at this two-in-one bar.

If you’ve not heard of Burringbar, that’s fair – it’s a super tiny verdant town about 16 kilometres south of Murwillumbah. The 132-kilometre Northern Rivers rail trail passes through here, and it’s got a handful of retail outlets (check out the cool Heaths Old Wares and Collectables while there). These facts make this bottle shop, bar and coffee shop even more special.

Week days it’s about really good coffee, specifically cold brews like cream-topped mont blancs, while Thursday to Sunday the bar and cafe are in swing. Small producers making wine with minimal intervention is the focus, and there’s simple snacks available, such as local cheese, cured meats, olives and tinned sardines served with pickled vegetables.
