Flight of Fancy podcast: The travel mistakes we keep making

It doesn't matter who you are. It doesn't matter if you're a first-time traveller with no knowledge of the world whatsoever, of if your name is, say, Ute Junker or Flip Byrnes. Every traveller makes mistakes. And in fact, every traveller makes the same mistakes. Or at least the same sorts of mistakes. We all screw up. We all have regrets. And they tend to run along the same lines.

We all pay far more than we should for certain goods and services. We all place our trust in the wrong people. We all book too much, and too little, and the wrong things entirely.

This is part and parcel of the travel experience. Mistakes happen. And today, we're going to tell you what you're likely to do, and how you might even be able to avoid them.

On this episode of Flight of Fancy, I'm joined by fellow writers Ute Junker and Flip Byrnes to talk mistakes, stuff-ups, snafus, howlers. The sorts of thing that every traveller does at some point in their career. Probably multiple times. We'll be talking about a few of our errors, plus pointing out the classics for you to watch out for.
