Djokovic played a blistering match after a slow start. He will take a lot of beating in Sunday's final.
The defending champion will take on either Dominic Thiem or Alexander Zverev, who play tomorrow night.

On the other side of the draw, two younger guns will battle it out for a place in the final against Djokovic.
Fifth seed Dominic Thiem from Austria bundled out world No. 1 Rafa Nadal in a major boilover, to reach the semi-final.
On his way through he has disposed of Aussie Alex Bolt and 10th seed, Frenchman Gael Monfils.
Thiem will now take on 22-year-old German, Alexander 'Sascha' Zverev tomorrow night. It will be Zverev's first grand slam semi-final.
Zverev, the seventh seed, beat former champion Stan Wawrinka on his way through and has won in straight sets in all his matches, including over Fernando Verdasco in the third round and 17th seed Andrey Rublev in the fourth round.
A humble Novak tells Jim Courier that he has the greatest respect for his great rival Roger Federer and his effort tonight when he was clearly not at his best.
"Respect to Roger for coming out tonight. He was obviously hurt..he wasn't close to his best in terms of movement," he said.
Djokovic said he was nervous at the beginning of the match, where he was down 4-1.
"It could have definitely gone a different way if he used those break points.
"He started off really well. I was pretty nervous at the beginning."
"I managed to dig my way back during the first set."
The defending champion has downed Roger Federer to earn a place in the Australian Open final.
After two hours and 18 minutes, Djokovic won in straight sets 7-6, 6-4, 6-3.
Federer fought, with two fantastic points, and a cross court backhand to take him to 30-30 but couldn't hold on.
After a huge lead-up, the injured Federer was no match for Joker's brilliance.
Djokovic goes through to fight for his eighth Australian Open title.
Federer is trying his best and wins his serve, but the Joker is in control and serving for a place in the Australian Open final.
The seven-time winner is on the way. It's 30-love at 5-3.
Djokovic can see the finish line now after breaking Federer again to take it to 4-2 in the third.
'Once again it's the backhand down the line that's doing the damange and brings up a vital break point for Djokovic," says Lleyton Hewitt.
Although we've seen some Houdini-like efforts from Federer this tournament, it's difficult to see it happening again, he said.

Joker cruises through his service game as Federer takes a wild swing and hits the ball long.
Djokovic seems to be signalling his box to be quiet.
He wins his serve to go up 3-2 in the third.
It feels like the end is nigh!
One of the last times these two fought it out was last year's Wimbledon final.
Djokovic was defending champion and finally beat Roger in a five-set epic that took four hours and 57 minutes.
It was the longest singles final in Wimbledon history.
