Live Women's World Cup 2015: Australian Matildas v Nigeria

Well a somewhat weird ending but who cares, Australia wins!! The front three of De Vanna, Kerr and Simon were absolutely brilliant today and this result was a testament to their hard work from start to finish. A clean sheet which really wasn't that hard to earn, Nigeria offered very little and when they did get forward the likes of Catley and Foord closed them down comfortably.

Australia will head into their final game and unless Sweden beats the US today, a draw in their final game against the Swedes would be enough to advance.

The real talking point today was that ugly elbow from Njoku, and she'll surely face some sanctions after the game. Thankfully Kerr was ok and Australia can enjoy a great win with no injury worries!
