That's a wrap
By
That's brings to an end another dominant day for Australia in a series that has been one-sided in almost every aspect.
Make sure you log onto SMH Sport and The Age Sport for all the latest news, a match report and analysis from our terrific journalists sitting next to me here at the SCG.
We'll see you tomorrow at 10am. Cheers!

Labuschagne speaks to Fox Cricket after play
By
"Terrific day," he said. "Everyone batted really well there. Steve and Davey just set the tone. A lot of credit has to go their way. When you bat on day one you know it can be a real prosperous day but if you get off to a shaky start it can be tough work. Once again they started the innings superbly and then we were able to cash in there at the back-end."
"It's all a bit of a whirlwind at the moment. I haven't really sat down and completely thought about how amazing this summer has been for me but the things I am thinking about is just enjoying every moment I get to play in the Australian colours and making sure you soak up every moment because it's a privilege to play."
The hosts finish the day on 3-282 as Marnus Labuschagne trudges off the SCG unbeaten on 130.
Matt Wade's late cameo of 22 from 30 balls has well and truly given Australia the ascendency heading into what will be a warm second day of play.

Wade on fire
By
Matt Wade backs himself and pulls a short ball from Wagner for six towards the Members Pavilion.
What a fantastic shot and a real change in mindset to earlier in the series when he was happy to cop a few body blows.
Next ball Wagner bangs it short again and Wade plays the same shot, this time for four runs.
Talk about intent! Three overs to go in the day.

Wagner vs Wade
By
The Kiwi quick trots down the pitch and gives Wade a bit of lip with a smile on his face. The pair had a member battle in Perth but Wagner is pitching up a little more, trying to extract all he can with the new ball in the final overs of the day.
Labuschagne then gets down on one knee and drives the last ball of the over for four. Brilliant.

Smith gone!
By
Colin de Grandhomme gets a huge breakthrough for the visitors as Smith is caught at first slip for 63.
He plays away from his body a fraction and gets a thick edge, much to his displeasure.
Matt Wade comes to the crease and he'll have a tricky seven overs to navigate before stumps.
Smith and Labuschagne have now batted together for more than 320 balls. The mental application of these two has to be admired.
Their appetite for spending time in the middle is something that has been setting them apart of late.
They're being cautious against this new ball, shared by Henry and De Grandhomme.

New Zealand take the new ball
By
We're 10 overs away from stumps and the Kiwis will have one last crack to try and turn their fortunes around.
Both batsmen are milking singles at the moment. The run rate has dried up slightly, with 25 runs coming from the last 10 overs.

Kiwis burn a review
By
Will Somerville wraps a sweeping Labuschagne on the pad and the Kiwis go upstairs. While there was no sign of any bat, the ball pitched outside leg (Somerville was bowling around the wicket).
It's been a tough day for the tourists.
