Hockey: It ends goalless
By
So our day's coverage ends with a whimper rather than a bang as the Hockeyroos are held to a scoreless draw against New Zealand. The draw puts the Kiwis into the semis, and leaves Australia needing to avoid losing to Scotland by three or more goals tomorrow to join them.
Thanks for following along, we'll be back to do it all against tomorrow - the last night in the pool, a host more medal on the track and plenty else on offer. See you then.

So let's recap the Aussie golds...
By
Australia grabbed two golds in gymnastics with Christopher Remkes winning the men's vault and Alexandra Eade winning the women's floor.
Evan O'Hanlon won our first gold on the track in the men's T38 100m sprint. Our women's fours won a thriller in the lawn bowls to beat South Africa in the gold medal match.
And of course, another magic night in the pool. Australia won all three medals in the first two finals of the night, completing trifectas in the men's 200m backstroke and women's 800m freestyle. Matthew Levy won the men's S7 50m freestyle before Bronte Campbell upset sister Cate to win the 100m freestyle.

Superb swim from the South African, who gets the 100m medal to go with the 50m and 200m. His 16th medal of any colour in the Commonwealth Games, the most of any swimmer. What a star. James Guy of England was second, Irvine third and Morgan fourth.
