Her majesty the Queen's royal tours of Australia
Queen Elizabeth II first visited in 1954 at the age of 27, the first of her sixteen trips to Australia, most recently in 2011.

On 17 March 1977, the Queen visited the Melbourne Cricket Ground and met with the players during the tea break on the final day of the Centenary Test, which Australia won by 45 runs. Fast bowler Dennis Lillee asks the Queen for her autograph. The Queen declined but later sent Lillee a signed copy of this photograph.
