Croatia are in their first-ever World Cup final! And they have deserved it on the balance of play. England seemed to run out of ideas from the second half onward. The Croatians really stepped up a gear after falling behind so early. Where did they find the physical wherewithal? It helped that they were able to bring on so many fresh legs in extra time.
