Thanks for following along tonight, it was stressful at times but ultimately pretty comfortable. I can tell you that as of typing this, Mile Jedinak does NOT have a hat trick - but who knows, goals have been changed days later before. Hopefully they see the light.
In the meantime, we've got three stories up now, and lots more to come today and tomorrow:
Now we're hearing that it IS once again, a hat trick from Jedinak - we'll definitely confirm that shortly. Just give it to him for God's sake!

"Once we got the first goal, we looked threatening all the time."
"It's the hardest thing I've ever done, these last four years - where our starting point was, having gone to a World Cup with a rookie squad and then knowing we pretty much had to win the Asian Cup."
When asked about whether he was staying on for 2018, he didn't answer - this campaign has weighed a lot on him, you can tell.

It wasn't the easiest route - in fact, I believe it was literally the most games a team has ever played to reach a World Cup - but Australia have done it. Thanks to recalled skipper Mile Jedinak's pair of penalties, and what we're being told has gone down as an own goal off substitute Henry Figueroa, via Jedinak's free kick.
A late consolation meant very little, although I'm sure Mat Ryan and co would have loved that clean sheet. Still, if that's the biggest thing we've got to be upset about, I'd say that's a pretty solid night.
