Fulltime wrap: An ugly Test played in slippery conditions. Both teams showed no shortage of courage and if the defences were lacking at times, some of the one-on-one hits were brutal.
The Wallabies were exposed at the breakdown and lineout and there needs to be a rethink for the Argentina match. The scrum was a roller coaster ride too.
Kurtley Beale was the pick of the Australians, while Michael Hooper was good in parts. Jordan Uelese's brief Test outing showed there was promise for the future.
The Springboks forward pack were awesome at times particularly in applying breakdown pressure.
The Wallabies will turn out again next week in Canberra to take on the Pumas who themselves had a narrow loss to the All Blacks earlier tonight.
