Family and players revelled in the confetti rainfall as they savoured their 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mahomes will be back, he’s too good to stay down. But it’s fairly clear Kansas City are going to need a fresh look at their game after they were contained so easily all night after losing 31-9 in the biggest game of the year.
But more importantly, it’s a great day for former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, possibly the Tampa Bay Bucs’ biggest celebrity fan. The boy-bander, who was raised near Tampa, Florida, even has a tattoo inspired by the team on his arm.

It’s all over and not soon enough. Tom Brady wins Super Bowl number seven and did it in a canter with a superb Bucs performance at both ends of the field. So many good players for them but there will only be one real MVP candidate. Brady has now won more Super Bowl titles than any individual franchise.

But everyone is talking Tom Brady at the moment. It seems clear he’s the greatest QB in the history of the NFL, maybe its greatest player. Where he fits into the global discussion is difficult since it’s such a regional game but his achievements are just amazing. Poise under pressure marks a champion and that has been his hallmark.
This gets better. It appears that he was wearing a Borat-style mankini and largely toyed with the security guards before he finally gave himself up in the endzone. We’ll bring your more angles as they surface online.
The start of the working week and the Australian Open in Melbourne did not stop Super Bowl fans celebrating in venues across Sydney.
