Spieth misses the par putt and that makes it official.
Bogey for Spieth at 17.
As the putt skims past the cup, the TV cameras pan to Willett watching the action back in the clubhouse.
Sitting on a couch, he interrupts a phone call with his wife by lunging over to embrace his caddie.
"I'll call you back," he says to his wife.
He has just won the green jacket.

17th Holre

Spieth's attempt out of the bunker doesn't really get close - 10 feet to the right.
That is basically the tournament.
Even if he makes par here, Spieth would have to make a two at the long par four 18th to tie.
Willett is your new US Masters Champion.

17th Hole

"That's not even close to getting there".
The TV microphones picked up Spieth's assessment of his crucial approach shot into 17, which falls into the front greenside bunker.
He needs to go birdie-birdie over the last two holes and it now seems unlikely he can do that.
There has been one shot holed out of this bunker today, but this would be an incredible time to make it two.

JASON DAY

Made par at 18 to give him a +1 round of 73 and a finish of tied 10th at +1 overall.
A disappointing week for the Australian. He had to think this was his year, especially after his scintillating front nine on day one.
But the back nine beat him all four days and he never really looked like threatening in the final round.

Miss!

Spieth couldn't drop it to get within one and left himself a tough five-foot putt coming back up the hill for par.
Had he missed, the Masters was Wilett's but the American made the par to stay within two shots with two holes to play.

We are basically going to follow Spieth in from now on.
The 16th hole has produced so much chaos today, that you have to think Spieth can get at this pin.
And he does. Spieth lands it very close to the pin with his tee shot, rolling just past but within six-feet for birdie.
Massive play coming here.

JORDAN SPIETH

But Jordan is not going to just give it to him.
The American shows his heart with another stunning approach tight on the pin into the par five 15th.
He then poured in the birdie putt to move to -3 and within two shots of Willett with three holes to play.
Meanwhile, Dustin Johnson has put himself out of contention with a double bogey on the par four 17th, which included several missed putts from close range.
