Mitchell Starc named man of the tournament!

The Australian quick finished up with an equal best 22 wickets, including best figures of 6-28 against New Zealand in the group stage, at an astonishing average of 10.18, strike rate of 17.4 and economy of just 3.50.

Starc also set the tone in the final as he bowled the extremely dangerous Brendon McCullum for a duck in the first over. New Zealand never recovered and Starc finished up with figures of 2-20 off eight overs.

James Faulkner named the man of the match for his outstanding bowling performance that yielded him figures of 3-36 from nine overs (including one maiden).

Faulkner ripped the game apart with two wickets in three balls in the middle of New Zealand's innings when Taylor and Elliott looked set to steer the Black Caps to a decent score.

Faulkner sparked a huge Kiwi collapse of 7-33 as they crumbled from 3-150 to 183 all out.
