Well, what a day of cricket. Australia bowled out for 136. England 3/133 in reply.
From the lows of Cardiff to the highs of Lord's, Australia are now back where they were three weeks ago. A number of poor shots and inexperience in certain situations has left Australia in real danger of losing the Test and having to chase their tail once again.
Chris Rogers (52) was the only top eight batsman to score above 16. He grinded his way to a half century when teammates around him perished as a result of loose shots and not being able to assess the situation as well as expected.
With the ball Australia didn't bowl too badly, but seemed unable to maintain a consistent length. They pitched up to Ian Bell too much and bowled to Cook's pads where he picked off Starc and Hazlewood at ease. Nathan Lyon's 2/3 from two overs was ironic given the fact England only used three pace bowlers in Anderson (6/47 off 14.4 overs), Broad (2/44 off 12 overs) and Finn (2/38 off 10).
Australia have a lot of work to do but funnier things have happened.

Joe Root hits what I reckon is the best cover drive of the day. Perfect weight transfer, eyes in line with the ball and it came right of the middle of the bat. Superb. England have also been very proactive with their running between the wickets. It hasn't been one of their strengths in years gone by, but both Bell and Root are looking to turn ones into two and so on. Johnson then gives his best impression of the Sydney Harbour Bridge (where a player dives over the ball and subsequently misfields). 2/125 off 26 overs, England only 11 runs behind Australia. Bell 47, Root 29. Run rate is 4.80.
