What has happened tonight, club by club:
It was a well-travelled night for the No.22 pick (which will find a player on Thursday night - not tonight). Earlier Gold Coast received picks 11 and 62 while Carlton moved back in the draft order and acquired picks 17 and 22.
Then, later on, the Blues did a separate deal with Port Adelaide, picking up pick 20 from the Power and giving them picks 22 and 55 in return.
PHEW ...... !
Pretty eventful. Not always surprising however. Some of the main names linked with specific clubs have reached their destination.
Always fantastic to see the joy of young players getting a chance in the AFL.
The reigning premiers make their first selection. Thomson Dow - the brother of Paddy - to the Tigers.
