Woman missing from Fitzroy nursing home

Police are appealing for help to find a woman missing from a Melbourne nursing home on Saturday.

Jan Velezis, 81, was last seen at an aged care centre in Queens Parade, Fitzroy, about 1.30pm.

She was wearing dark pants, a light-grey zip-up top with a hood, light-grey shoes with white soles, and was carrying a black handbag.

Police and family have concerns for her welfare due to medical conditions including dementia.

They have released an image of Ms Velezis leaving the centre in a bid to find her.
