Man’s body found in car park of popular Melbourne shopping centre

A crime scene was set up at a popular Melbourne shopping centre on Thursday morning after the discovery of a man’s body in a car park.

A member of the public found the man’s body at Westfield Southland Shopping Centre about 5.30am.

Police cordoned off the area before the shopping centre opened.

In a statement, police confirmed the man’s body was found in a shopping centre on Chesterville Road in Cheltenham.

However, they later confirmed the death appeared to be non-suspicious.
