Bushfire threatens homes in Melbourne's north
Photos from Age photographer Justin McManus show just how close the fire burning in Plenty Gorge, was to homes. Residents of Bundoora, Greensborough and Mill Park who live between the Metropolitan Ring Road between Scholar Drive and Booyan Court were urged to shelter indoors.
