The Granville crash: forty years on
On January 18th 1977, a peak hour Blue Mountains commuter train from Mt Victoria, travelling into Sydney, crashed after derailing on an approach curve to Granville Station. Forty years on, we remember Australia's worst rail disaster. Photos: Kate Geraghty & Geoff Jones.
