Woman loses legs and arm in slasher incident

A woman has been flown to hospital in a critical condition after losing both her legs and arm in an incident on a farm involving a slasher.

The woman, in her 60s, was significantly injured at Ballandean, near Stanthorpe, south-west of the Gold Coast about noon on Thursday.

Paramedics stabilised the woman at the scene, before she was flown to the Princess Alexandria Hospital in Brisbane.

Police were continuing to investigate the incident.
