Woman charged with manslaughter after man's fatal fall

A woman has been charged with manslaughter after a man died following a fall at a home south-west of the Sunshine Coast on Tuesday.

Emergency services were called to the Macadamia Drive residence in Maleny about 12pm where they found the 63-year-old man.

Paramedics rushed the man to Maleny Hospital but he was declared dead upon arrival.

A 39-year-old Maleny woman, known to the man, has been charged with manslaughter and she was set to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
