On Sunday, police confirmed they had charged two boys, from Kingston and Logan Central, with murder and attempted armed robbery.

Detectives from the Moreton crime group and state homicide squad were investigating a third male's involvement, releasing CCTV footage of the person on Monday morning.

However, in a statement on Monday night, police confirmed the third man shown in security camera footage had contacted detectives and been eliminated as a person of interest in the investigation.
