Search off Queensland coast for missing diver

A search will resume for a spear fishing free diver who failed to resurface in waters near Bundaberg.

The man, 38, was reported missing by his boat's skipper about 8am on Saturday after diving off the a six-metre vessel about 14 nautical miles off Elliott Heads.

A search resumed at first light on Sunday after an aerial and water search failed to find the man earlier.
