The Centenary Motorway on Brisbane's southside has been clogged by more than six kilometres of congestion after a four-vehicle crash.

The crash happened about 6.10am on Thursday on the northbound side in Jindalee, before the Seventeen Mile Rocks Road off-ramp.

Police said all the motorists involved had walked away from the collision and there were no major injuries.

The right lane was partially blocked and about seven kilometres of inbound delays had formed, stretching back to Richlands and also affecting the Ipswich Motorway.

The lane reopened about 7am but two hours later there were still light delays in the area.
