Police investigate sudden death of man at Gold Coast home

A major police investigation has been launched after the sudden death of a man on the Gold Coast on Friday.

In a statement, Queensland Police said initial information indicates about 11.40am police were called to a property on Roundelay Drive to conduct a welfare check but a 55-year-old man was found dead at the home.

A crime scene was declared about 8.30pm on Friday night.

Investigations to determine the cause of the man’s death are currently under way.
