Missing woman and child spotted south of Brisbane

A missing woman and girl from south of Brisbane have been spotted travelling together in NSW.

The 53-year-old and 12-year-old from Kingston were seen on January 6 about 11am in a blue Holden Crewman at a service station in Coffs Harbour.

Police did not reveal their relationship but said the pair were known to each other.

The woman is about 160 centimetres tall and of average build, with brown eyes and brown hair.

She has tattoos on her forearm and left shoulder.

The girl is slightly shorter, with a slim build, brown eyes and brown hair.

They were both seen in Coffs Harbour, on the NSW north coast. Queensland Police

The vehicle they were seen in had Queensland registration plates 952 MG4.

Police urged anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the woman and the child to contact authorities.
