One man, aged in his 20s, was taken into custody inside the tunnel.

A second man fled and scaled a house in Woolloongabba about 4.20pm, remaining on the roof for hours. Police suspected the house was not occupied at the time.

Shortly after 7.30pm, the man surrendered to police and was also taken into custody.

He has suffered minor injuries while fleeing police, and was taken to hospital for treatment.

No charges had been laid on by Wednesday morning, as the man in his 20s assisted officers with inquiries, and the second remained in hospital.
