Man stabbed in hip, attacker on the run south-east of Brisbane

A man has been stabbed in the hip at a home south-east of Brisbane and the attacker is on the run.

Emergency services were called to the Mount Cotton residence, on Durian Street, about 4.45am.

Paramedics treated a man in his 20s at the scene and took him to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

Police said another man was involved in the attack and officers were working to track him down.
