Man charged over alleged Bowen Hills stabbing

A man will front court on Friday over the alleged stabbing of a man in Bowen Hills overnight.

Police said two men at a Brunswick Street property began arguing before one of the men, aged 57, was stabbed in the stomach.

Paramedics transported him to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers arrested a 58-year-old man at the property and charged him with one count of wounding.

He was due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday morning.

Both men were residents of the property, police said.
