Group's alleged visit to Greenslopes home leaves man in hospital

A man has been taken to hospital in critical condition after an alleged attack in Brisbane's south overnight.

Police say initial investigations suggest the 22-year-old was attacked after a group of people visited an Earle Street address in Greenslopes.

Police said the man was assisting detectives with their ongoing inquiries. Queensland Police Service

The man suffered wounds to his hand and abdominal region, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said.

He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with critical injuries and later listed as stable.
