Crime scene declared after woman’s body found in Brisbane

A crime scene has been declared after a woman was found dead at a Brisbane unit overnight.

Police have launched an investigation into the 45-year-old’s death, after officers found her dead in Annerley about 9pm.

Officers found the body after they were called to the Franklin Street unit.

“A 53-year-old man, who is known to the woman, was located at the unit and is assisting police with their inquires,” police said in a statement.

Police were continuing to investigate the death.
