The Broncos have condemned fans involved in a fight at Suncorp Stadium following Friday night’s match between Brisbane and the Penrith Panthers.

Footage that emerged online over the weekend shows three men in a fight after the match, with onlookers gathered around the food and beverage hall, and several bystanders rushing to break up the altercation.

One man can be heard yelling: “Stop, stop, enough, enough.”

In a club statement, the Brisbane Broncos said they were aware of the incident involving a number of spectators after the Broncos 26-0 loss to the Panthers.

“The behaviour shown in footage circulating online is disappointing and does not reflect the values of the Broncos or the overwhelming majority of fans who support the game in the right spirit,” they said.

“Rugby league is a game for families, and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

“Those involved risk significant sanctions, including long-term bans from attending NRL matches.”

The club continued that Suncorp Stadium management and the Queensland police were investigating the incident, with the Broncos “supporting any appropriate action taken”.
