Queen's death prompts mourning around the world - September 10, 2022
Britain’s longest-serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, has died. Her death prompted a wave of public mourning and triggering the immediate ascension of Prince Charles as King. The Queen, born in Mayfair, London on April 21, 1926, died at Balmoral Castle in Scotland just 17 months after the death of her beloved husband Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.
