Two men in hospital after Chester Hill stabbing

Two men are recovering in hospital with stab wounds after an "altercation" at Chester Hill in Sydney's west on Tuesday.

Police were called to a block of flats on Hector Street just after 11.15am following reports of a stabbing.

"One of the men sustained a laceration to his ear and was taken to Liverpool Hospital," a police statement said.

"The second man suffered lacerations to his arm. He has been taken to Bankstown Hospital."

Police are not looking for anyone further in relation to the alleged stabbing.

The men, aged 42 and 32, were known to each other, police say.

Three crime scenes have been established in the vicinity of the apartment block although no arrests have been made and no charges have been laid.
