Sydney's big swell ramps up
Waves are predicted to double in height in Sydney by Thursday afternoon, with wild winds and surf posing an erosion risk to the entire NSW coastline.The SES is preparing for a "wind swing" with strong westerly winds experienced over the last week replaced by southerly winds from Tasmania hitting Sydney late in the afternoon. The system will likely bring wind speeds of 60km/h with gusts of up to 95km/h to the city.
