"I said 'no', he hadn't," Ms Murnain said, but added that she told Mr Robertson she believed Mr Wong.
Ms Murnain said Mr Robertson told her there was no need to do anything, advised her to keep quite about her meeting with Mr Wong.
"Ian said to me 'there is no need to do anything from here, don't record this meeting, don't put it in your diary, forget the conversation happened with Ernest, and I won't be billing you for this either," Ms Murnain said.
She said Mr Robertson also told her: "Don't tell anyone about it."
She said Mr Robertson did not take notes during their meeting.
The ICAC heard Mr Robertson would cross-examine Ms Murnain during the inquiry.
