Erosion risks and damage caused by big storms
Winter is the season of storms along the NSW coast generated by low-pressure systems that form in the Tasman Sea. Despite new coastal planning laws introduced in 2016 - a year of a powerful east coast low - little progress has been made on building sea walls at Collaroy-Narrabeen and Wamberal, or elsewhere.
