Iranian asylum seeker Reza Barati memorial
In the dusty southern suburbs of Tehran, more than 1500 relatives and friends attended a memorial for Iranian asylum seeker Reza Barati, who was killed on Manus Island. Dozens of members of the wider Barati family lined up, shoulders heaving in grief, to receive condolences as mourners passed through the mosque. Photography by Kate Geraghty.
