Australia take the honours on an absorbing opening day against South Africa

Wickets, and plenty of them, was the story of day one at the Gabba with Australia popping South Africa in on a green top and knocking them over inside two sessions. But the Proteas fought back, claiming five wickets of their own before stumps. Adam Collins has Tom Decent with him in Brisbane.
