Cyclist suffers head, leg injuries in crash with truck

A 20-year-old woman has been taken to hospital with head and leg injuries after a crash between a bicycle and a truck in Turner.

Paramedics were called to Greenway Street at 7.44am on Thursday after the collision.

An Emergency Services Agency spokeswoman said the injured woman, who was the cyclist, had been taken to Canberra Hospital.

"I understand she was transported in a stable condition," the agency spokeswoman said.

"She's expected to make a full recovery."

Another crash on Thursday morning created long traffic delays in northbound lanes on the Tuggeranong Parkway.

Multiple vehicles were involved, but all lanes had reopened by 8am.
