Alleged Bondi gunman tells bystanders to move away as he shoots at Hanukkah crowd
One of the two alleged Bondi gunmen, Naveed Akram, paused his shooting spree to wave people away who were behind him and on the Campbell parade side of the pedestrian footbridge.
Footage shows the alleged father and son shooters walking to the peak of the footbridge on Sunday evening, at about 6.30pm, before shooting north towards a large gathering celebrating the first day of Hanukkah in the park.
As the father, Sajid Akram, 50, runs down steps and closer to the crowds in the park, his 24-year-old son, Naveed, turns to bystanders behind him and to his right, gesturing for them to go away. He then turns back to shoot at crowds in the park.
