Car Tetris
Eamon had few talents, Kat thought, watching him from inside, but by god he could pack a car boot.
She’d once asked him, half-jokingly, why he was so good at it.
“Hours playing Tetris in my youth,” he’d answered earnestly.
Yet there he was, confounded by his repeated failed attempts to get their holiday gear into the SUV.
Was his gift deserting him, Kat wondered, as Eamon flung a boogie board across the driveway. Was everything he knew about himself being called into question?
