The stolen card details scam

“Fastcards” are issued under a Cabcharge Account with any charge billed to that account. It works similar to a credit card but only used to pay for taxi travel.

It is a physical or digital, multi-use card with no limit on transaction volume.

Scamming drivers copy the physical card number and link it to a fake 13Cabs booking app account.

Drivers then make fake trips under the fake account, charged to the real fastcard.

The real cardholder won't know about the fake account until they receive an invoice at the end of the month.
