The generic location scam

Terminals have nine generic locations drivers can input.

Airport, restaurant, suburbs, home, tourist, office, hospital, city, train/bus.

Was supposed to assist when GPS links were down.

Using a generic code allows driver to enter any amount.

This allows overcharging benefitting the driver.

It also benefits Cabcharge which pockets a percentage of every transaction on the terminal.
